WIRE-TAIL ON WIRE SMAP 165

Greetings to all bird lovers and feathered friends community! I am sharing my entry for the current theme, "Bird on Wire," announced by the host @nelinoeva.

I want to share an interesting bird with you all the wire-tailed swallow Hirundo smithii. Based on our research in India, in our particular area, we did understand. There are four types of swallows around- Barn, Red-rumped, streak-throated, and wire-tailed. Identifying the wire-tailed swallow can be quite challenging. when those swallows fly their tails look like wires during They fly. However, they tend to rest on wires, making it easier to spot them while they are sitting. In our garden, we saw only red-rumped swallows and wire-tailed swallows. here are some photos of this lovely bird that has a fine wire-like tail.

this one is a Red-rumped Swallow Cecropis daurica That doesn't have the fine wire tail.
Thank you, readers, sponsors, and supporters of the community.

Whenever I try to make pictures like this the birds fly away so you have made these pictures with a lot of time and effort.

I mentioned it is in our garden and now all birds know we are their friends and not harming them. so many times they are given some pose also when I do take photos. Thank you :)

I've never seen such a tail like that on any bird, great pics. I could imagine it would be very difficult to see that thread-like tail while the bird is in flight.
