The world's tallest Nativity Scene
Hello, Community greetings and very happy new year to all hivers. Here is my experience walking the streets of Alicante, Spain. Here in Norway was forecasted very cold weather and snow/rain storm during the Christmas. We planned to travel some warm place for a new experience of a different culture. we were there for a few days during Christmas time and it was really very nice how they celebrate traditionally. I heard they make the world's tallest nativity scene according to guinness world records.
Beautiful light decorations on the roads in the old city. each road has different patterns of light decoration, From one street to another
We asked the hotel reception for a city map and where to go and what is most interesting to see during Christmas we got some information about the tall statues of Mary and baby Jesus with Joseph and the three kings made very beautifully using the artistic skill. from a long distance they looks like real human faces.
The side walk- esplanade, in between the sea and the main road was very beautiful. walking under tall palm trees with light shining on the tiles like walking on moonlight. The tiles are laid to look like waves.
Baby Jesus was made with very lifelike eyes and face. I think it made of thermocol when I took this close up it looks like a very light material.
The beautiful Mary
The kings brought gold, frankincense and myrrh.
Different angels were located around the city here is one of them with the effect of snow falling in the tree behind her.
The Christmas tree located in front of one government building
FELIZ-NAVIAD/Merry-Christmas Nicely designed by cutting some bushes and decorated with flowers.
Huge Christmas ornaments many of different colors were placed in public squares.
.
One more Angel in the center of the old town.
Even private people are also very generous to decorate their windows with a Christmas tree. here is one.
One more angle.
And here while walking along the seaside I took a photo of a poster hanging on the fence for a new year party.
Happy new year to you. Thank you for stopping by.
