Stær the common starling
Hello, friends, bird watchers, and fellow community members! I hope you are all doing well, no matter where you are in the world. This is my bird photo submission for the Smap contest. 239.
A while ago, I was walking with my husband in Lillevik Forest. After our walk, we were getting back to the car park, we spotted a bird on the top of the tree. It was a common starling, which we call "stær." (Sturnus vulgaris). They are very beautiful birds. I like how they shine in the sunlight. I usually see them in groups, this one was alone. Perhaps it had lost its group and was looking for them. Regardless, I was grateful for the chance to take some lovely photos of the stær and to appreciate nature. Thank you, take care :)

Such a lovely close-up. Starlings are amazing and they truely carry the stars on their feathers.
