The photos were taken in our Indian garden. The bird is always found with its female partners. A male Purple-rumped Sunbird Leptocoma zeylonica, a species native to the Indian subcontinent. During the early mango season, it perched at the top of the mango tree, enjoying its lunch. Watching these birds is always a delight; their playful activities make it feel like a form of therapy, transporting us to another world. Thank you, all community leaders, for this opportunity to SMAP of bird.
