Monomad: Where Paragliders Dance and Mountains Watch Silently
Today I am sitting with a cup of tea, I have come back home after 12 days. I volunteered in a running event. The event lasted for 2 days in which I managed other volunteers and helped in delivering hydration on the route. I am presenting some black and white photos clicked during the event.
The photos in today's post are from Bir which is famous for paragliding in India. Tourists come here from every corner of India and enjoy paragliding. In the blue sky, birds are seen flying somewhere and colorful paragliders are seen somewhere. Snow-covered mountains are shining behind the paragliders.
The name of these snowy mountains is Dhauladhar, this place located in the lap of Kangra valley is very beautiful and peaceful. There are many options for paragliding as well as hiking here. Hikers can hike from here to reach the highest pass of the Dhauladhar mountain range, Thamsar Pass, which takes 5-7 days to reach.
Now that summer has arrived, flowers have started blooming in the entire valley, it is a different matter that I did not see many flowers because sunlight does not reach the forest here, so many flowers are still left to bloom. On the way, we come across some horses who are roaming here and there without any purpose and filling their stomachs by eating grass.
This was my first day in Bir, which was very good. Now in the next posts I will show you the beauty of Bir.
This is my entry for #monomad challenge.
