Monomad: Chasing Sunsets on the Manali-Leh Highway

Today, I'm writing after a long time. The reason I haven't written is my travels, and when I have time after my travels, my laziness prevents me from doing anything. My body cries out, "Lie in bed, do nothing, don't write anything. Eat well and sleep."

All the photos in today's post are from the Manali-Leh Highway, taken in June this year. It was a running event, where I volunteered with my friends, capturing the sights of the trans-Himalayan landscape.

The most spectacular place was "More Plains," where we watched a magical sunset, saw yaks, sheep, and goats drinking from the lake. We also saw small herders who had brought their animals to the lake to water them. The altitude is 4,600 meters, and even walking at this altitude is breathtaking.

The thumbnail photo is of the Tanglang La mountain pass, which is 5319 meters high and is the last pass from the Manali side on the way to Leh. In the photos, you can see that at such a height, the clouds kiss the earth's forehead and cast their shadows... while at other times, sunlight filtering through the clouds caresses the earth's fingers.
