Monomad: A 2200 Kilometer Road Journey through the Himalayas

The photos of this post were clicked in the month of June when I went from Delhi to Himachal Pradesh and from there to Manali to Ladakh. This trip was on the road and we travelled a total of 2200 km in this journey. All the photos are from this highway and are from different places. Somewhere the height is 4500 meters and somewhere 480 meters, meaning no place is below 4500 meters and that is why the oxygen level here is only 70%.

I would click photos of whatever scene looked good on the highway with my camera, although I have 2 cameras but one of our team members took the Sony camera for use. So now I had my favorite weapon which I have been using since 2017 and I have installed a 17-year-old 55-250mm lens on it. The focus ring is also broken but even then I don't get as bad results as I should.

So now every day when I see these photos on my laptop, I realize that these photos should be posted in the black and white community and then I make a selection and import them in Lightroom, edit them in black and white and then export them. The results don't look that great but it's okay because neither I nor my camera can do better than this.

The height of the pictures in the landscapes seen in these photos ranges from 5500 meters to 6500 meters. Some pictures are still virgin and are waiting for someone to come and conquer them.
