Do not eat anything without washing and checking

Summer has come and strawberries planted a month ago have started bearing strawberries. We have eaten probably 5 strawberries till now and believe me, all five strawberries were completely organic and very sweet. I got this strawberry plant for less than a dollar. And I think that the 5 strawberries I have eaten so far will cost at least one dollar.

So, taking the matter further, let me tell you that when the sixth strawberry was ripe, I kept it in the fridge so that I would eat it after lunch when it would cool down. After taking it out from the fridge, I washed the strawberry in water and as I was about to put it in my mouth, I saw a hole in the strawberry.

A hole in a strawberry or any fruit is a symbol of the fact that there may be a worm in the fruit. So I opened the strawberry from the middle and saw a worm inside the strawberry. I immediately left the strawberry thinking that this insect would not get on my hand. Stabilizing myself, I opened the strawberry wide and took out the worm inside to see how big it was.

Its length was about 2 inches and it had completely hollowed out the strawberry by eating it from inside. I congratulated myself for not eating it. Of course it is not that good to look at but still I clicked some photos of it through my reverse lens. I also tried searching its name on Google but could not reach the correct name.

Well, I would like to say in this last paragraph that whether it is vegetables or fruits, wash them all and eat them after watching carefully, there can be some insect anywhere which can pose a threat to me and you. That's all for today, see you tomorrow and I promise the next post will not be about any larva at all. See you tomorrow, stay healthy and keep smiling.

You captured the caterpillar on camera and converted it into an opportunity. You have also beautifully captured the filaments on the strawberries in the macro photography. All your photographs are very beautiful.
