A Perfect Morning in Solang (2500m)

Yesterday, snow fell on the high mountains, and it rained continuously for two days around our hotel, heavy rain. After returning from Goa, we sat in the hotel for two days, waiting for the weather to clear. Then, one day, the weather cleared, the rain stopped, and even the high mountains stopped snowing. The view we saw was absolutely beautiful.

Solang village, located at an altitude of 2500 meters, is the last and final village in this valley. It is a delight to see after two days of rain. Pine and cedar trees abound here. Apple orchards surround the village. The colorful roofs of the village shine. The cedar trees stand in a row against the snow-capped mountains, as if to pay their respects to nature.

Every year, shepherds take their flocks to the high mountains with the arrival of summer, and when the time for snowfall comes again, they bring them down from the mountains and return to their homes. I see one such herd from the hotel balcony, soaked in the rain, counting their flocks to ensure they haven't left any animals behind.

Above the Anjani Mahadev Temple is a dense forest inhabited by wild animals, but today it's covered in clouds. It seems as if the dark clouds will swallow this forest. It's autumn, but it's snowing and raining here these days, but the signs of autumn can be seen on some yellowing trees on the mountain.

In the distance, Friendship Peak is being bidden farewell by the last rays of the sun. In the morning, I saw Mount Shirgan Tunga, located at the end of the valley. You can get an idea of how beautiful everything looks when the weather clears after snowfall from the photos. I hope you enjoyed today's post.
