I hope you're having a wonderful time, filled with discovery. For me, every new city is a new story, a new feeling. And today, I'll be writing about a city I've wanted to write about for a long time: Paris.

I discovered Paris last year during my European tour. I remember spending two full days in this city, which has so many places to see that it couldn't be fit into two days.

Paris was perhaps the most anticipated stop on my European trip. That's why I was so happy to have two days dedicated to it.

Avrupa seyahatimin belki de en çok beklediğim durağıydı Paris. O yüzden bu şehre iki gün ayrılmış olması beni çok mutlu etmişti.

First Day: A classic yet impressive Paris tour

On our first day, we had the opportunity to see some of Paris's most familiar yet impressive sights with a guide. It's impossible not to be captivated by the majesty of the Eiffel Tower. Although we've seen it thousands of times on postcards, in movies, and on book covers, the feeling transforms when you stand in front of it.

İlk günümüzde rehber eşliğinde Paris’in en bilindik ama bir o kadar da etkileyici yerlerini görme fırsatımız oldu. Eyfel Kulesi’nin heybeti karşısında durup büyülenmemek mümkün değil. Montmartre, with its streets immersed in art, vibrant colors, and peaceful atmosphere, has become one of my favorite spots. Looking down on Paris from here was a distinct pleasure.

Ressamlar Tepesi (Montmartre), sanatla iç içe sokakları, rengârenk dokusu ve huzurlu atmosferiyle en sevdiğim noktalardan biri oldu. Buradan Paris’e tepeden bakmak da ayrı bir keyifti.

Walking along the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs-Élysées, we felt both the city's historical and modern aspects simultaneously. We stood facing the Eiffel Tower in Trocadero Square and took countless photos. Then, at the St. Michael's Fountain, we witnessed Paris's elegant connection with water and art.

Zafer Takı ve Şanzelize Caddesi boyunca yürürken, şehrin hem tarihi hem de modern yüzünü aynı anda hissettik. Trokadero Meydanı’nda Eyfel Kulesi’ne karşı durup bol bol fotoğraf çektik. Ardından Sen Micheal Çeşmesi ile Paris’in suyla ve sanatla kurduğu zarif bağa şahit olduk.

One of the most special moments of the day was seeing the Eiffel Tower's silhouette illuminated by the night lights. That moment, I truly felt like I was in Paris.

Günün en özel anlarından biri ise, Eyfel Kulesi’nin gece ışıklarıyla parlayan siluetini görmekti. O an gerçekten “Paris’teyim!” duygusu içimi kapladı.

We stayed overnight at the hotel arranged by our tour company. We were tired but happy.

Gece tur şirketimizin ayarladığı otelde konakladık. Yorgunduk ama mutluyduk.

Day Two: Free Time in Paris

İkinci gün: Paris’te serbest zaman

On the second day, we had a little more free time. After morning coffee at the hotel, a few friends and I decided to explore the streets of Paris a little more freely. First, we toured a small market. The sliced fruits on the market shelves caught my eye. Small details, but great clues about the culture of your destination…

İkinci gün, biraz daha serbest zamanımız vardı. Otelde içtiğim sabah kahvesinin ardından birkaç arkadaşımla Paris sokaklarını biraz daha özgürce keşfetmeye karar verdik. Önce küçük bir market turu yaptık. Market raflarında dilimlenmiş meyveler dikkatimi çekti. Küçük detaylar ama bulunduğunuz yerin kültürünü tanımak adına harika ipuçları…

Afterwards, we had a mini picnic on a grassy area overlooking the Eiffel Tower. The city was even more beautiful in the morning sun. People bustling around, young people playing music, and the Eiffel Tower rising in the distance…

Sonrasında Eyfel Kulesi manzaralı çimlik bir alanda mini bir piknik yaptık. Şehir, sabah güneşiyle başka bir güzellikteydi. Etrafta koşuşturan insanlar, müzik yapan gençler ve uzakta yükselen Eyfel…

Later in the day, I planned a more personal route. I went to Galeries Lafayette, one of Paris's most famous and luxurious department stores. Aside from the grandeur of the interior, the view of Paris when I stepped onto its terrace took my breath away.

Günün ilerleyen saatlerinde daha bireysel bir rota çizdim kendime. Paris’in en ünlü ve lüks alışveriş merkezlerinden biri olan Galeries Lafayette’e gittim. İçerideki ihtişam bir yana, terasına çıktığımda Paris manzarası adeta nefesimi kesti.

On my way back, I stopped into a shop lined with colorful macarons. It was hard to decide between the colors, but I finally chose a pink, delicious-looking one. It became a small but sweet memory for me.

Dönüş yolunda rengarenk makaronların dizildiği bir dükkana girdim. Renkler arasında karar vermek zordu ama sonunda pembe, lezzetli görünen bir tanesini seçtim. Küçük ama tatlı bir anı oldu benim için.

Were two days enough? No. But even just getting to know this city, even just a little bit of its magic, was incredibly rewarding. Paris left a wonderful impression on me. Perhaps one day, on a longer, quieter trip, I'll have the opportunity to explore it again.
