A butterfly that stopped me !
Hey everyone,
One day last week , I woke up without any real plans for the day. The weather was nice, not too hot, not too cold, so I thought to myself, ‘Come on, why not go out for a walk?’ I like these walks where you set off without any particular destination in mind, just to get some fresh air and a change of scenery.
Honestly, I have to say it was a truly magical moment. I was walking along quietly, with no particular destination in mind, when suddenly... something caught my eye. There, delicately perched on a flower, was a butterfly. And not just any butterfly. Its wings were magnificent, as if someone had carefully painted them by hand. The colours were so vivid, it looked like a small living work of art.
There was something almost unreal about the way it sat there, motionless, as if it knew it was beautiful and was just waiting to be noticed. It seemed to say, ‘Look at me, just for a moment.’ And I couldn't help but stop. I was completely fascinated.
Around it, the deep green of the leaves made the colours of its wings even more vibrant. The contrast was just perfect. It wasn't just a butterfly. It was like a little everyday miracle, something simple but precious, that we are lucky enough to see from time to time when we take the time to slow down a little.

It stayed there for a little while, without moving, as if it were posing for me on purpose. And then, suddenly, it flew away, quietly. This kind of scene may only last two minutes, but it's enough to put you in a good mood for the whole day.
That day, I travelled to Kenitra, a city located in western Morocco, 40 km north of the capital Rabat. I kept the photos of this butterfly on my mobile phone, and today I thought I'd share it here. Not because it's exceptional, but precisely because it's simple. Sometimes, just by going out for a bit and taking the time to look around, you come across little wonders like this.
So there you have it, nothing crazy, just a little moment of calm and beauty, caught on the fly. And I'm showing you the photos, of course, because I think they're worth a look!
Thank you for taking the time to read this. I hope you enjoyed it. See you soon for another little slice of life!
