Traveling with the team and visiting the Don Felix inn, in the Morrocoy national park [Eng/Spa]

I had already mentioned that I was with the Drone Yaracuy team out of state on a recording job for "El Tándem", but, in addition to telling you about my experience working with them recording and taking behind-the-scenes photographs, I also want to tell you about my travel experience and knowing the place where we would work and stay those days, the Posada Don Felix located at the entrance to the Morrocoy National Park.

Ya les habia mecionado que estuve con el equipo de Drone Yaracuy fuera del estado en un trabajo de grabación para "El Tándem", pero, además de contarles sobre mi experiencia trabajando con ellos grabando y haciendo fotografías trascámara, quiero también contarles mi experiencia de viaje y al conocer el lugar donde trabajariamos y estariamos esos dias, la Posada Don Felix ubicada en la entrada del Parque Nacional Morrocoy.

At once I am going to tell you that the time we decided to travel was not good, we left around 2:30pm and the heat was above 35 degrees and it was not such a comfortable trip for that reason, in addition to that, as already I imagine you know, Venezuela has problems with the supply of gasoline and we could not turn on the air conditioning for a long time due to the extra consumption of gasoline... we are already used to saving and suffering.

De una vez les voy a decir que no fue buena la hora que agarramos para viajar, salimos a eso de las 2:30pm y el calor estaba por encima de los 35 grados y no fue un viaje tan cómodo por eso, además que como ya me imagino que saben, Venezuela tiene problemas con el suministro de la gasolina y no podiamos enceder el aire acondicionado por mucho tiempo por el consumo extra de gasolina... ya estamos acostumbrado ahorrar y sufrir.

But not everything is so sad and thanks to the sponsorship of Empresas Polar we were able to travel fresh and happy, of course, the pilot was not drinking, so don't worry, we are very aware that in addition to human lives, many medical equipment was loaded into those cars. worth.

Pero no todo es tan triste y gracias al patrocinio de la Empresas Polar pudimos viajar frescos y contentos, claro, el piloto no estaba tomando, así que tranquilos que somos muy conscientes de que además de vidas humanas, en esos carros se cargaba muchos equipos de valor.

So I decided to drink my beer to refresh ourselves on the way and arrive happy to be able to put everything together and prepare for the first recording of the day.

Asi que me dispuse a tomar mi cerveza para refrescarnos en el camino y llegar contentos para poder armar todo y prepararnos para la primera grabación del día.

The respective photograph in the mirror upon arrival... and I show you with images part of the short tour that I took at that moment while it was being put together and still being studied how and where the first session was going to be recorded.

I tell you at once that the place was very nice, it is not such a big inn but I liked how small it is, very comfortable, well distributed and thank God it has a lot of vegetation and it was not so hot.

La respectiva fotografía en el espejo al llegar... y les muestro con imágenes parte del recorrido corto que di en ese momento mientras se armaba y se estudiaba aún como y donde se iba a grabar la primera sesión.

Les digo de una vez que el lugar estaba muy bonito, no es una posada tan grande pero lo que pequeña que es me gustó, muy cómoda, bien distribuida y gracias a Dios tiene mucha vegetación y no había tanto calor.

I have a fascination with doors and I still don't know "why", let's say not entirely concrete (I obviously have my philosophical basis) but as soon as I have a good foundation for the "why" I am photographing all the doors I see I will tell you, and We will meditate on how significant it is for me to see each of them, their versions, in different places, deteriorated, new, broken, and restored... I like those more.

Tengo una fascinación por las puertas y no se aún "por qué", digamos que no del todo concreto (tengo obviamente mi base filosófica) pero apenas tenga bien fundamentado el "por qué" estoy fotografiando todas las puertas que veo se las diré, y meditaremos acerca de lo significativo que es para mi ver cada una de ellas, sus versiones, en lugares distintos, deterioradas, nuevas, rotas, y restauradas... que esas me gustan más.

I felt very good upon arriving and being there, my serious face was because the heat and the trip had me a little tired and I wanted to jump into that pool but we couldn't, because we went to work.

Me sentí muy bien al llegar y al estar allí, mi cara de serio era porque el calor y el viaje me tenian un poco cansado y quiera lanzarme en esa piscina pero no podiamos, porque fuimos a trabajar.

After organizing everything, analyzing, thinking, and knowing what everyone was going to do, we got to work and in 4 passes we were able to record everything without any problem.

Después de ordenar todo, analizar, pensar, y saber que iban hacer cada uno, nos pusimos manos a la obra y en 4 pasadas pudimos grabar todo sin ningun problema alguno.

But the night does not end there, comes the second session, which took place in this peculiar place inside the inn.

Pero la noche no terminaba allí, venía la segunda sesión, que se hizo en este peculiar lugar dentro de la posada.

And yes, the second recording was in a very well-kept small boat that is inside the inn, something that we really liked when we entered and we did not hesitate to decide that the second session was going to be done there.

Y si, la segunda grabación fue en un pequeño barco muy bien cuidado que esta dentro de la posada, algo que nos gustó mucho al entrar y no dudamos en decidir que la segunda sesión iba hacer allí.

After doing my job in the first two passes, I retired a little to rest my legs and back that couldn't stand them, and honestly since that day I have been in pain but thank God I was able to get some massages a few days ago. It helped me reduce the pain and relax.

Yo después de hacer mi trabajo en las dos primeras pasadas, me retiré un poco para descansar las piernas y la espalda que no las aguantaba, y sinceramente desde ese día he pasado con dolores pero que gracias a Dios pude hacerme unos masajes hace unos dias que me ayudó a bajar el dolor y relajarme.

We are very happy with the entire result of that day, and not only that but also getting to know new places and enjoying them in the middle of work, with that I am telling you that I really liked the Don Felix inn, in addition to the attention of its staff.

I didn't sleep much that night because we finished late but at least I was able to close my eyes and wake up to enjoy the morning at the inn and its sunrise, something that also fascinates me to do, see how the sunrise and sunset in a different place, because it is something unique and I always like to see and feel that.

Estamos muy contentos con todo el resultado de ese día, y no solamente eso sino también en conocer nuevos lugares y disfrutarlos en medio del trabajo, con eso estoy diciéndoles que me gustó muchísimo la posada Don Felix, además de la atención de su personal.

No dormí mucho esa noche porque terminamos tarde pero al menos pude cerrar los ojos y despertar para disfrutar de la mañana en la posada y su amanacer, cosa que también me fascina hacer, ver como amanece y el ocaso en un lugar distinto, porque es algo único y siempre me gusta ver y sentir eso.

Look at this great view I had after getting up and walking around the inn a little further, I lay down to relax near the pool but looking towards the boat.

Vean esta grandiosa vista que tuve después de levantarme y caminar un poco más la posada, me acosté para relajarme cerca de la piscina pero mirando hacia el barco.

After relaxing, it was time to eat, and we couldn't miss our beloved dogfish and shrimp empanadas, with soft drinks, lots of sauces and coffee.

We couldn't leave without eating our favorite breakfast in a great inn like Don Felix and in one of the best parks in our country, Morrocoy Park.

Después de relajarme llegó la hora de comer, y no podía faltar nuestras amadas empanadas de cazón y camarón, con refresco, muchas salsas y café.

No nos podiamos ir sin comernos nuestro desayuno preferido en una gran posada como es Don Felix y en uno de los mejores parques de nuestro país, el parque morrocoy.

And well, the moment came that many do not like, which is to go to our place of residence, but it was worth it, the effort, the trip and the enjoyment, I would do it again, of course, surrounded by this great team and of all those great people who will soon continue to see in my photographs.

Y bueno nos llegó el momento que muchos no les gusta que es el de irse a nuestro lugar de residencia, pero valió la pena, el esfuerzo, el viaje y el disfrute, lo volvería hacer, claro que sí, rodeado de este gran equipo y de todas esas gran persona que pronto seguirán viendo en mis fotografías.
