Skateboarding competition in the city, retaking the photography | monomad challenge [Eng/Spa]

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

This year has given me many surprises and of all of them the one that is winning in rewarding experiences is to return to photography and not only that but to do it in something completely new for me.

Este año me ha dado muchas sorpresas y de todas esas la que la que va ganando en experiencias gratificantes es volver a fotografiar y no solo eso sino hacerlo en algo completamente nuevo para mi.

I photographed, as you are already seeing in a Skateboarding competition here in my city, the 3rd National Valid, which is a Skate Tour where they collect the best of the cities of Venezuela. In this competition participated about 20 skate athletes from several cities including ours; the city of San Felipe, also being the first time that a national event is made here thanks to the new Skate Park.

Fotografié, como ya lo están viendo en una competencia de Skateboarding aquí en mi cuidad, la 3ra Válida Nacional, que es un Tour de Skate donde recogen a los mejores de las ciudades de Venezuela. En esta competencia participaron alrededor de 20 atletas del Skate de varias ciudades incluyendo la nuestra; la cuidad de San Felipe, siendo primera vez también que se hace un evento nacional aquí gracias al nuevo Skate Park.

Photographing in an event like this was something new for me and it was a very demanding experience at the beginning because I didn't know what to do or how to do it, but I feel that I achieved a good content and took good shots despite my lack of experience in this field of photography.

Fotografiar en un evento como este fue algo nuevo para mi y fue una experiencia al principio bastante exigente porque no sabia que hacer ni como hacerlo, pero siento que logré un buen contenido y hacer buenas tomas pese a mi nula experiencias dentro de este campo de la fotografía.

I always wanted to do sports photography but I didn't expect to start with this one and it was quite challenging, but it felt great as the competition went on and I saw the photos slowly add to my camera's memory.

Siempre quise hacer fotografía de deporte pero no esperaba comenzar con este y fue bastante retador, pero me sentí muy bien al transcurrir la competencia y ver sumar poco a poco fotos a la memoria de la cámara.

I want to start this series of photographic content with a young skateboarder who called much attention for his talent and his skating style.

His name is José Palacio, (elboysk8) competitor from the city of Valencia,Venezuela.

Quiero comenzar esta serie de contenido fotográfico con un joven skater que llamo mucho la atención por su talento y por su estilo al patinar.
