A Quick Escape to Armand’s Beach Resort Our Kind of Refreshing Gathering with Fellow Teachers
Hello my dear Hivers of the @hiveph community. I hope you're all well and safe.

This is a get-way back in July with my fellow teachers. We had a wonderful and much-needed quick escape to Armand’s Beach Resort in Lianga, Surigao del Sur. It's the best day because the sun is up and the sky is blue.

This trip was extra special because it served as a reunion and bonding moment with my fellow teachers from my previous school. After the last school year's busy schedules and year end school activities. It felt so good to unwind, relax, and enjoy the nature's view in this great place.

The moment we arrived, I was instantly amazed by the beauty of the place. The beach looks stunning with it's calm waves, soft sand, and the refreshing sea breeze that brushed my skin. From that alone, I feel recharged already. I rarely get this kind of rest, specially during this time. My second child is just 2 months old.

Around the resort, I noticed beautiful flowers blooming everywhere, and even an orchid gracefully hanging near one of the cottages. There was also a quiet lagoon behind the house my co-teacher rented. Where at the back of the cottage, I can see a small boat gently resting on the water, adding to the peaceful and picturesque view.

Our cottage was perfect for our group. It could accommodate around 20 people, giving us plenty of space to relax and have fun. What made it even better was the videoke station on the lower part of the cottage.

Of course, no Filipino gathering is complete without some singing, laughter, and good music and we sang our hearts out without limits.

While walking around, I also noticed a talisay tree planted in a square shape such a unique sight that caught my attention.

And yes, there was plenty of food to enjoy. We had a bilao of kakanin, juicy mangoes, sweet oranges, bananas and other delicious dishes that made the day even more satisfying. Eating together while surrounded by the sound of the waves and the cool sea breeze was such a perfect combination.

As the evening came, the view became even more breathtaking. There were tents for rent, beautifully set under the soft glow of night lights, giving the whole place a cozy and a relaxing place to stay.

It was an overnight stay well spent with my beautiful people. It's the kind of little escape I needed with good company to recharge and appreciate life’s simple joys. When I have time and with extra budget, I would like to be back here with my family this time.

That's all for today. Thanks for reading this far. Til my next post!
