Making my local dish for breakfast...

Hello friends, it's a great day to be here again in the foodiesbeehive community which I will be talking about an Nigerian dish which I made for breakfast today.. Today, I decided to make something for myself for the early morning due to the fact that I am bachelor and there is no wife or maid to cook .
Today, I did a local dish wish I know most people might know about and the name is beans and bread... This might sound funny tho but to a bachelor like me, it's isn't easy to go into the kitchen to prepare such, but I tried my best not to get the food burnt..
Items used;
- Water
- Beans (2 cups)
- Onion (1)
- Palm oil
- Salt
- Pepper
All this ingredients came together to give me a great taste of the beans and also for the bread which I used, I got it from a bakery near me and the name of the bakery is called Adic and the type of bread I bought is the butter bread which was just taken out of the oven very hot and giving out a good smell..
How did I prepare it?
Light up your source of cooking, be it a gas cooker or a stove or an electric cooker, get a lot and add little amount of water depending on the amount of beans you want to cook. You can add salt at the beginning and onion depending on your choice. After that, cover the pot and leave to boil for some time before the beans becomes soft. Then, you can add pepper in little amount and palm oil. Then cover for some minutes for it to steam up then your food is ready to be served hot..
Beans is very easy to cook tho, but sometimes takes much time to get done especially for those beans that are very hard to be cooked they take up to an hour plus sometimes because they are not harvested well or not when they are due to be harvested..
After a short period of time the beans was done and I now have it ready to be served hot and now time to eat, come join me and have a great taste 😀...

Oh tomorrow I'm gonna be cooking beans. To make sure the beans can cook quickly I have a trick. I always leave them all night soaking in a pot with plenty of water, the next day I remove the water and put clean water in it and put them to cook. To increase the flavor you can also fry the onion first and then add it to the beans
Wow! Amazing 😂😁😂 I knew I would surely learn one or two from you cooking academy 😂😂.. so I have learn this now and I am going to apply it to my cooking next time.. Thanks for the tip👍👍😉😉
