Real or fake - this is the question?

I was reading something very interesting yesterday about external-projected confidence, and internal confidence. Took me a bit to understand the differences, as sometimes in life we learn the wrong way of confidence, which will leave us flawed, instead of flawless.

The 'Fake it 'til you make it kind of stuff' and the self-importance attached to it. I was listening to someone and I understood the concept very clearly. Think about all these new waves of influencers, youtube geniuses, and Instagram BS. It is as simple as that, the people who want to be rich, dressed in brand clothes, with Lamborghini cars and gold and money to spare around them, typical Kardashian style. They are not real. The real rich people, the ones who have nothing to prove, they don't really care about driving a 5-year-old car or dressing in jeans and a simple white top. The real deal people are quiet, the ones who don't know and are fake, they are really loud.

To quote Confucius," the ones who know don't talk, the ones who talk don't know".

To be really confident in your value and skill is difficult, and you can see even world-class athletes, who did not learn the mental attitude yet, go in the wrong direction and act like amateurs. There is another bias here, as the surest people in any domain are the ones who just learned a bit, while the experts, they are more aware of their limitations and quite often underestimate their value. The limited ones are always sure of themselves.
