Some time ago, I don't remember exactly how long ago, I started looking at my photos and noticed that I needed braces. I went to a dental clinic that is located downtown, in the Capital Plaza Mall. The dentist who treated me was called Luddy, very cool and professional.

In this dental clinic, I could tell that it is very well known by the number of people in the waiting room. When it was my turn, the doctor recommended me to have them placed only in the lower part, it was not necessary to place them in the upper part. Then she sent me to have a panoramic view, which I had, and finally I had the procedure done.

It didn't take more than two hours, it was quick and professional. That same day I took advantage and had my teeth whitened, which I will do frequently. He told me that I had to go to every monthly visit for the progress of the orthodontic treatment. I had my braces colored sky blue.

This procedure many people do it for fashion or because they like it, but the reality is that it is very uncomfortable and annoying, the recommendations that the doctor gave me was that apart from good oral hygiene such as brushing your teeth after every meal with a soft bristle brush, flossing and mouthwash, as for food, eat soft foods that do not compromise the teeth, and medications such as anti-inflammatory the first few days.

The first week I had an inflammatory reaction, and only the first day I could not eat food, only liquids. I feel it is not easy, but everything is adapting. En el Dentista para una Mejor Sonrisa

¡Hola, bienvenidos a mi blog! Hoy les voy a contar un poco de mi experiencia cuando me coloqué brackets por primera vez. Me gusta sonreír, aunque no se notan mucho mis dientes al hacerlo. Creo que lo importante es sentirme bien, y sentir esa seguridad al sonreír.

Hace un tiempo no recuerdo cuánto exactamente, empecé a mirar mis fotos y noté que necesitaba brackets. Fui a una clínica dental que está ubicada en el centro de la ciudad, en el Mall Capital Plaza. La odontóloga que me atendió se llama Luddy muy chévere y profesional.

En esa clínica dental me pude dar cuenta de que es muy reconocida por la cantidad de personas que había en la sala de espera. Ya cuando fue mi turno, la doctora me recomendó que me los colocara solo en la parte de abajo, que en la parte de arriba no era necesario ponerlos. Entonces me mandó a hacer una panorámica, la que me realicé, y finalmente me hicieron el procedimiento.

No duró más de dos horas, fue algo rápido y profesional. Ese mismo día aproveché y le hice un blanqueamiento a mis dientes, el cual me realizaré frecuentemente. Me indicó que debía ir a cada consulta mensual para el avance del tratamiento de la ortodoncia. Mis ligas me las colocaron de color azul cielo.

Este procedimiento muchas personas lo hacen por moda o por qué les gusta, pero la realidad es que es muy incómodo y molesto, las recomendaciones que me dio la doctora fue, que aparte de una buena higiene bucal como cepillarse los dientes después de cada comida con un cepillo de cerdas suaves, usar hilo dental y enjuague bucal, en cuanto a la alimentación, comer alimentos blandos que no comprometan los dientes, y medicamentos como: antiinflamatorios los primeros días.

La primera semana tuve una reacción inflamatoria, y solo el primer día no pude ingerir alimentos, solo líquidos. Siento que no es fácil, pero todo es adaptarse. Gracias a mi odontólogo Luddy, hoy puedo sonreír con más confianza sin temor a que se note el diente que tenía en mal posición. Esta fue mi experiencia del día, nos vemos en el siguiente post.
