En momentos difíciles hay que buscar alternativas para evadir caer en el estrés, como todos saben soy venezolano y recién tuvimos un apagón a nivel nacional dejándonos atados de manos porque sin electricidad es poco lo que se puede hacer y si tampoco se tiene el vital líquido la cosa es peor, así que en momentos como esos urge poner a pensar la mente y sacar rápidamente una solución que beneficie a toda la familia.

Fueron quince horas sin luz y casi una semana sin agua por lo que mi mamá y mi tía decidieron que pasaríamos el día en la casa que fue de mis abuelos maternos, donde ahora vive mi tía mayor, les cuento que esta casa es muy vieja nunca se le ha realizado remodelación ni nada por el estilo, el techo el de zinc y eso hace que el calor sea tremendo, lo bueno es que en el patio hay matas que dan brisa y el agua no falta, también que mi tía vive sola y tiene suficientes recipientes para almacenar el agua aparte del tanque.

Mi hermano y primo por su parte estuvieron disfrutando en un corredor donde hay un chinchorro colgado por lo que allí pasaron toda la tarde acostados mientras conversaban, mi mamá junto con mis tías también trataron de ayudar a retirar un poco la grama halándola con las manos meno cuando el terreno no está húmedo ella cuesta para salir así que fue poco lo que pudieron hacer, por supuesto que no falto conversación, recuerdos de cuando ellas eran pequeñas y muchas anécdotas que a mí particularmente me encanta saber para conocer más de la vida de mi mamá y de mis abuelos a quienes no conocí, pero mi mamá y mis tías me han contado muchas cosas que vivieron como familia y así he ido conociendo mis raíces y a mis abuelos.

Pienso que pasar tiempo con la familia y saber de su época es una fortuna porque no todo el mundo está dispuesto a contar sus historias, por eso me siento afortunado de que mis tías y mi mamá quieran compartir todo eso con nosotros los más pequeños de la familia, siento que es una manera de hacernos vivir con ellas sus momentos inolvidables, me encanta preguntar de todo y que ellas me respondan ja ja me siento todavía un niño.

I think that spending time with the family and knowing about their time is a fortune because not everyone is willing to tell their stories, so I feel fortunate that my aunts and my mom want to share all that with us the youngest of the family, I feel it is a way to make us live with them their unforgettable moments, I love to ask about everything and they answer me ha ha I still feel like a child.

Esa idea de pasar un día en la morera, ja, ja, fue genial. Les cuento que la morera es el nombre del barrio donde queda la casa y ese nombre es gracias a que antes todos esos terrenos estaban sembrados de árboles de moras, así que gracias a las moras llegó la morera. Más allá de estar en la morera, estuvimos en familia, disfrutando y compartiendo lo que hizo que el tema del apagón quedara en un segundo plano. Dice siempre mi mamá que es una dicha, tener una familia y yo así lo creo, es fenomenal crecer en una y contar con ella en todo momento.
