Friends, walk, sunset, and picnic. Sharing at Christmas.

After going through a year full of ups and downs, I needed something special. So I decided to take a day out with my friends, get away from it all and enjoy a nice walk followed by a picnic. This past year has been a challenge for all of us as a club, and we needed a break, a moment to be very much at peace with ourselves.

The idea was simple: nature, friends and good food. We ventured out for a walk through the second stage of our park "Vereda del Lago". On a path surrounded by trees, birds, small crabs perched on the stones, wind and the ever present Maracaibo Lake. Helping us to leave stress and worries behind.

This outing was organised by my friend @zsara. She made sure that everything was a success. She has come to our club to put some order, and to put us on the way to the order that sometimes we don't have. It is important to have this kind of help in a club you know.... It makes you relax a little bit and you can see things from a more sober and calm perspective. If it had been up to me to organise this picnic, I would probably have ended up very stressed.

Walking together was great. We talked about everything, laughed, remembered things from the past and set goals for the future. In this natural environment, we forgot about our problems for a while and enjoyed the fresh air.
