Market Friday - Browse TENGAH While Waiting for My Friends to Come
Hi friends in the Hive community, happy Friday everyone. Greetings and greetings. This is my first post in the #marketfriday community by @dswigle and I will share my experience while in Tengah.
At first, my friend called me out of necessity. So, we arranged to meet at a place called Tengah. I've known this place for a long time, but I've never been to it. I think this is a cafe because everyone who visits aims to eat. Turns out I was wrong, it's like a food court. People who come here not only eat but also hang out and take selfies.
At 10.00 am, I arrived at Tengahid gate. I called my friend and told him I had arrived, but he was still on his way due to traffic jams. I'm a person who doesn't like long waits so I went inside and walked through this place.
The first time I entered this place, I was shocked by the ghost and mummy statues. Oh, I just remembered that it is October. Looks like they prepared this for Halloween. This place is quite spacious and there are many restaurants here. I followed the path beside which there was a cute cat statue. I remember when one of my Chinese friends said that the cat statue is a symbol of good luck.
I edited this image to make it look more spooky
I continued walking on the path looking at the atmosphere around here. Each restaurant has a different design concept, some with Korean nuances for serving Korean food, some with Chinese, Japanese, and western nuances. But I didn't go into the restaurant, for fear that the food inside was expensive. Because I didn't bring much money when I came here.
This place is quite nice and cool to just hang out. I love some of the unique table and chair designs here. In the middle, there is a pavilion. I'm sure this place is often used for events such as music or others. No wonder there was a ghost statue in front of me that surprised me. On the 31st, there will be a Halloween event and musical performances or costume competitions.
I continued to follow the path while looking at people who were taking pictures and selfies for Instagram needs. Most of them are teenagers and the girls look pretty. There is also a doll claw machine and a snack machine. So, someone who wants to give a doll to his girlfriend can use this machine.
When I arrived at the end of the trail, I was surprised again by three ghost statues standing next to a Japanese restaurant. I'm sure, if you visit at night, you'll think it's a real ghost. At the end of the path in front of the Japanese restaurant, I bought a CornDog with sausage and mozzarella inside for 8.5K IDR ($0.55) and a large fried roll cake filled with chicken and vegetable pieces for 5K IDR ($0.32). I thought it was expensive, but it turned out to be cheap.
I edited this photo to make it look scary
I returned to the park-like central area to enjoy the food I had just bought. I walked back down the path carrying a package of food. In the middle area, I saw a VW Combi car that was used as a place to sell coffee, I happened to not drink coffee, so I ordered palm sugar iced coffee for 20K IDR ($1.28). The price of coffee here is standard and the taste of coffee is also good. They use blend beans (Arabica and Robusta) for this coffee.
While waiting for my friend to come, I sat while enjoying CornDog, Fried Roll Cake, and delicious palm sugar iced coffee. The taste of CornDog and Risol is quite good, even though these are not heavy meals, but my stomach feels full after enjoying these two types of food.
15 minutes after my food finished my friend just arrived at this place. Even though I've been waiting for it for half an hour. Btw, this place is highly recommended to hang out with your friends here. Even if just relaxing alone while reading a book is also ok. Especially for event organizers, this place is perfect for an event.
But here there are regulations for visitors that are not allowed to bring food from outside and also not allowed to bring pets such as dogs. The place here is very clean and comfortable. So, if you come here, you have to keep it clean, guys. There are many trash cans around this place so cleanliness is maintained. This is all I can explain in today's post. Thank you for visiting and nice to meet you.

Tell us a little bit about the market or the event. What brought you there? What did you buy? How much did it cost? Was it expensive? Did it go up or down? I need something other than 50 pictures of the market.
Post the pictures. Of course, you should tell a little bit about the ones you post, it is too difficult to guess on some

yes mam, i just did it and i have followed the guide too.
Your coffee was the most expensive thing! :) Everything else was rather inexpensive. That was a long way that you took us! I wasn't sure we would ever get there! :) That seemed like a pretty nice place and I could tell right off that they had decorated for Halloween! :)
Would you consider going there on a regular basis? It seemed like a nice place to go for lunch!
I think it is important that you know how much I appreciate the time and effort put into posts. Thank you for your participating in #MarketFriday! I enjoy learning about your world and how it is to live in it. I find it interesting to compare standards, but, more than standards, by how we find the quality of our life with different indicators that the world does. It is not always about the wealth in money, but includes many other things including being as healthy as possible, being educated, but, not necessarily in school. I feel like a person is educated if they aquire knowledge and use it for the better good and happiness of the society they are living in. It is with great pleasure that I read through this and all of the posts, with these thoughts in mind.
I want to thank you for giving me the opportunity to get to know you and your piece of the world just a little bit better. I have learned so much about the different cultures of the world, I especially love the small things in life and make a point to give them notice. Life has been interesting for me this week, and I hope your week has found you happy and healthy, as we all look to prosper in our way of life.
I have learned so much about all of you and it has been an amazing experience. I can only hope that learning about each other can help us work together for a peaceful world. Please take the time to read a couple #MarketFriday posts and leave a genuine comment behind. It is important to interact within the community, allowing for others to bond with each other. The fun is in getting to know people and making a positive contribution to community life. I am pretty sure that is why I joined Hive. All this fun and money too. What if not to love?
