Congested Roads and Heavy Rain

Hello dear Hive friends, today I want to share photography I took while on the road and got caught in the rain last night. So, yesterday I was on my way home. That day the sky looked cloudy and a bit dark. The roads were jammed. At that time the clock showed 18.00. Then I decided to stop at the ATM located in the gas station area.

After I withdrew money from the ATM and was about to continue my journey home, it rained very hard. I also took shelter in the ATM room. I waited for an hour and a half until the rain stopped. But the rain never stopped. I started to worry because I was very tired and wanted to go home immediately. From inside the ATM room, I saw many motorbike riders coming to the gas station area to take shelter because the rain was falling very hard. I decided to look for a wider shelter.

I walked outside and took shelter in front of the restaurant located in the gas station area. There, I met a man who was also taking shelter. We also chatted to relieve boredom. The father said that he was on his way home from work. He was also stuck in traffic jams and heavy rain. We also share stories and experiences. We also encouraged each other to remain patient and wait for the rain to stop.

After waiting for two hours, the rain finally started to subside. I thanked the father and continued my journey home. I rode my motorbike carefully so as not to slip because the road was slippery. My journey home this time felt very long. I had to be extra careful because the roads were slippery and congested.

I arrived home at 20.00. I immediately went home and rested. I was grateful that the rain had subsided and I could get home safely. I also learned from this experience to always be careful when driving in the rainy season. Thank you for reading my post. See you in the next post.
