Vintage Camera Museum - Singapore
"Photographs are a way of imprisoning reality... One can't possess reality, one can possess images—one can't hold the present, one can hold a picture of the present." - from "On Photography" By Susan Sontag

Photographs, which cannot themselves explain anything, are inexhaustible invitations to deduction, speculation, and fantasy." - from "On Photography" by Susan Sontag

Photographs by me - These are of the vintage camera museum in Singapore - did I go in? No for me photography isn't about the equipment, about the hardware it's about the photos themselves, the moments captures, the invitation to deduction, so did I go into the photo gallery? Yes. Did I look at a thousand pictures online, on instagram? Yes
Should I read all of 'On Photography' or just read the extended quotes?
You are absolutely right!
it is not the camera that makes the photographer, but the photographer makes the photos!
A photograph, more often than not, represents a moment, unique and unrepeatable moment in someone's life.
And you can stop that whether with a $50 polaroid or a $3000 nikon.
It doesn't change.
Awesome shots!
