The Swans of Suwa

This is a summer town, even if it isn't quite summer yet, and there are all the tacky things that go along with summer, looking to attract the people to part with some yen to try to create the type of memories that are only formed on hot summer nights.
and on Lake Suwa (which is about 2.5 hours from Tokyo, and is famous for a lake, and for being one of the two places that Seiko watches were made) this attraction that's the form of a Swan. Big, little, boats, painted, boats on water, boats on roofs - none of it makes too much sense, but then again not much in Japan does.
