Street Photography –Escaping through a closing door
| Notes | A Mondegreen, where you hear or perhaps remember in this case a different lyric in the song than the one that actually exists. As I shot this instantly The Pet Shop boys came into my head and Neil Tennant's voice was singing 'Escaping through a closing door' from what I might argue was one of there best songs (and it's a strong field) Being Boring. Except of course that isn't the line is it. the lyric is My shoes were high and I had scored / I'd bolted through a closing door / And I would never find myself feeling bored. Interestingly I also heard in my mind I had spores, which of course makes no sense. Anyway - good photo I think, clearly poor ears. |
