Not from Today - 1st of July

This will be an irregular series of posts - in these posts I'm going to look back into my archive to see what photos I took this day in previous years

This 'Not from Today' but it is from the July 1st

2010 - The man who thought his phone was a remote in Melbourne Australia. This guy looks like a tourist to me, maybe Irish, backbacking (with a rolly suitcase) I know this corner and I don't really understand what he is looking at, but look at the now retro corded heaphones.

2016 - Red Umbrella - Six years later and weirdly we are back at almost the same spot, the grey concrete pillars in the rear of this shot are the same ones to the left of the BMW in the shot above. This one is a better shot, I love the movement in the lady with the umbrella.

2018 - Another two years later and we have moved a few streets to the south, still in Melbourne. This building and this sculpture was brand new then, it was near were I was working at the time. I like this shot a lot as well, the towering skyscrapers (did you know Melbourne have more Skyscrapers than London, Los Angeles, Osaka or Beijing)

2022 - Still in Melbourne, this must be the first of these posts where everything has been shot in Melbourne, and in fact when about a 500m of each other - I really like these shot, almost perfect composition. plus I have something for delivery people.
