#Monomad Street Photography –The Street and the Statue

| Notes | For quite some time I thought that having someone commission a statue of you would be fairly cool, but then I realized the best way to live on in society is actually to have a street named after you, that way you are embedded into people's lives, I mean I can name most the streets in my town, which are all named after old white guys but I can't name any statues. Of course there is a fair chance your name will be taken in vain, Oh the traffic on Hoddle Street (named after Robert Hoddle, a white dude who did laid out the road grid in Melbourne) is a nightmare - deeply ironic that the guy who designed out road system has one of it's most hated roads named for him. Of course traffic isn't the worse thing to happen on Hoddle street - the Hoddle street massacre wasn't great. Maybe I should stick to statues. |
