Sometimes you find yourself on the streets and you want to shoot photos, but the light is flat and grey, this is a problem for a person who relies on deep colours and harsh shadows for his street work. it is then that you have to shift to black and white.

It is then that you remember how good black and white is, the lack of distractions, the focus on composition, on the people on the streets of the expression on their faces, it's then that you tell yourself you will head out more often on these dull days with a camera in hand.
