#Monomad Photography - Three Gargoyles in Barcelona

Gargoyles are generally on buildings to ward off evil spirits, but they tend to attract me to a building with either means I'm not evil, or they are failing to do their job.

This is something about these little concrete characters that appeal to me, the decision of the sculpturer in the first place to design this character, and then the work of hundreds of years of weathering to give it another character all together - still sometimes with anguish on the face, but the edges rounded off.

Or maybe somethings it's something more religious, more desperate, more taking the huddled masses under his wing
