FOOTWEAR MAKING AS MY BEST CRAFTING WORK.//COVER PALM MAKING

Good day everyone
Footwear making as been in existence for long,the existence have explain the close relationship between a bare foot of human and a footwear.Crafting is so fun and creative whereby you will go into deeply for a duration as course and become perfect.
There are alot of crafting work but I as a well known shoe cobbler in nigeria choose shoemaking as my discipline and handiwork because I love making of footwear naturally right from when am a child.
Alot of my friends go for fashion designer,artist,wall decorations,tie and dye,and other relatives craft work.I am a university graduate and a shoecobbler presently which I make this below cover palm for one of my client.
THE MAKING OF THE PALM IS EXPLAIN BELOW WITH MATERIAL USED
MATERIALS
NORA
WELT
MARKO 6
LIGHT MARKO
CARPET LEATHER
BLACK SOFT LEATHER

THE BEGINNING

Upper making
We will firstly get our cover palm shape and trace out with pen them cut out with scissors,after cutting we will apply gum to the carpet leather and fold before linen the materials with thick nude leather.
now we will see the upper using our sewing machine to Complete the making of the upper.

Insole making
Making of our insole is the combination of Marko 6 Nora leather and welt.we will cut our Nora to a particular shape and cut Marko 6 before linen it then welt all together

Sole making
Cut out our Nora to shape and remove your Marko 6 then file the edge's of the Nora after wetting to perfect the sole

Lasting and final gumming
we will proceed with the lasting by applying gum the the insole and upper the make use of our wooden last to set the foot size.
Lastly we will Gum all together using our hand brush to apply gum to most expecially the edge's the use alteco super glue to finish the work
