Dancing Wings on a Monday Morning.
It was the first day of resumption; that is, the 8th of September, on Monday morning at around 11: 52 to around 12: 08 in the afternoon. At my workplace, a rather quiet start because the special kids had not yet arrived. Instead of sitting idly. I decided to stroll around the compound to make myself useful. As I wandered close to the decorative plants that brighten up the school environment, my eyes caught a beautiful sight. Perched delicately on the leaves was a baby butterfly, its soft wings stretching as though it was rehearsing for a flight show.
Butterflies love to rest on plants for different reasons—sometimes they are sipping nectar, sometimes they are laying eggs, and at other times they are simply enjoying the shelter of the leaves. Perhaps these ones had stopped to rest or feed before continuing their airy adventures.
Excitedly, I attempted to catch them, but they seemed to have other plans. Each time I reached out, they fluttered away, almost as if they were pranking me. At one point, a bold butterfly even landed lightly on my head. Before I could bring out my phone to capture that priceless moment, it mischievously flew away again. Luckily, I managed to photograph a few of their pauses on the plants.
There were moments when the wind blew strongly, and I noticed the butterflies respond with such quiet wisdom. Instead of being carried away, they tightened their grip on the plant and folded their fragile wings, shielding themselves from the force of the breeze. You can see how they closed their wings for strength:
I just stood there, simply admiring how such a small creature could teach such a profound lesson about resilience. It was as though nature was reminding me that when the storms of life come along with their huge challenges, sometimes the best response is not to fight wildly but to hold on firmly with hope and wait patiently until the wind passes by.
Looking forward to yet another enjoyable adventure, just wondering what nature will bring my way this time.

Butterfly really like to laying in the leaves and fond to watch them.
Exactly, they like leaves a lot, I also enjoyed watching them, infact I even learnt resilience from them.
