She curves her tongue back like it's a spoon and dips only the tip of her tongue into the water, then lifts it up, sucking in the water at an incredible speed before it falls back down! This movement is incredibly fast, and in fact, when drinking, the cat can take 4 sips per second.

Our kitty Monika loves to combine business with pleasure - drink and take a small shower at the same time.
