HiveBeeCon 2 [EN/PL]

EN: This year HiveBeeCon is coming back! Save these dates (if you haven’t already): November 14–16.

As usual, the reason for the gathering is HiveFest being held far from Europe — but that’s not the only one. This year, in addition to the community meetup, we will also be launching the first Hive Voluntary Service project at the Kingdom. The first volunteer we will be hosting is @blind-spot. For two weeks, he will be helping us with, among other things, organizing HiveBeeCon. You can read more about the project on @hive.aid.

What will it be like this year?

First of all — longer. Instead of one day, it will last three, from Friday to Sunday. Just like two years ago, we’re not planning any presentations like those that take place at every HiveFest. Instead, there will be workshops where you can share your passions with others. You can sign up in the comments.

Why should you come?

• First, to meet other Hive users in real life — maybe not from all over the world, but at least from various European countries.
• Second, to visit the extraordinary place that is @krolestwo. If you were here two years ago, you won’t recognize it. The changes are huge. It may look similar at first glance, but so much has really changed.
• Third, because our experience is greater, the local community stronger, and we will undoubtedly prepare an interesting program for you.
• Fourth, because Kraków is the most beautiful Polish city, and even in November it looks great. And as it happens, @krolestwo is right in its very heart.

PL: W tym roku HiveBeeCon powraca! Zapiszcie te daty (jeśli jeszcze tego nie zrobiliście): 14-16 listopada. Pretekstem do spotkania jak zwykle jest HiveFest daleko od Europy, ale nie tylko to. W tym roku oprócz spotkania społeczności będzie realizowali w Królestwie pierwszy projekt Hive Voluntary Service. Pierwszym wolontariuszem, którego będziemy gościć jest @blind-spot. Przez dwa tygodnie będzie nam pomagał między innymi w organizacji HiveBeeConu. Więcej o projekcie możecie przeczytać na @hive.aid.

Jak będzie w tym roku?

Przede wszystkim dłużej. Zamiast jednego dnia będą aż trzy, od piątku do niedzieli. Tak jak dwa lata temu nie planujemy żadnych prezentacji podobnych do tych, które odbywają się na każdym HiveFeście. Zamiast tego będą warsztaty. Będziecie mogli podzielić się z innymi swoimi pasjami. Zgłosić można się w komentarzu.

Dlaczego warto przyjechać?

• Po pierwsze, żeby spotkać w realnej rzeczywistości innych użytkowników Hive. Może nie z całego świata, ale przynajmniej z różnych krajów Europy.
• Po drugie, żeby odwiedzić niezwykłe miejsce jakim jest @krolestwo. Kto był dwa lata temu ten nie pozna tego miejsca. Zmiany są ogromne. Z pozoru wygląda podobnie, ale zmieniło się naprawdę wiele.
• Po trzecie, bo nasze doświadczenie jest większe, lokalna społeczność silniejsza i bez wątpienia przygotujemy dla Was ciekawy program.
• Po czwarte, bo Kraków to najpiękniejsze polskie miasto i nawet w listopadzie wygląda świetnie. A tak się składa, że @krolestwo jest w samym jego sercu.
