Introduction: Just an ordinary guy

Who Am I? I'm just an ordinary guy... and I've been around a little bit.

I'm Clifford. It's good to meet you all.

Born in the U.K. in the 1970's, I grew up in what's now, Greater London.

At the age of 16 I joined the army and was there for around 5 years.

Upon leaving with my new telecommunications skills, I got into I.T.

That was around 30 years ago and I've worked in the I.T. industry ever since.

As you can probably imagine, over my 30 years I.T. career, I've worked in many places.

There is a long list of companies and organisations that I've worked with, too many to list, but a few are:

KPMG

Colleges

Schools

Accountants

Insurance

Voluntary

National Health Service

and the list goes on.

Realizing that the I.T. industry was dominated by very wealthy and powerful firms, I felt it was important that I carved out my own niche.

​That led me to getting into Website Design in 1997.
I still do website design and really enjoy it.

Around 2017 I got into cryptocurrency and I was totally fascinated by this new technology.

Before long I was buying coins and tokens and was excited to watch their value go up...

Not so exciting was watching their value go down!

Then came the scammers.

A ruthless set of people who want to take away what you have, just to line their own pockets.

So, in 2022 I built a platform called HEXucation.

It was designed to help people learn all about Blockchain and crypto currency, but more importantly it was made to help people to NOT get scammed.

Since then I've dedicated many hours daily to helping people learn more about those exciting technologies.

This means I've had to broaden my interests and knowledge, and venture into:

• Meta-Learning (Learning how to learn)
• Blockchain & cryptocurrency
• A.I.
• Marketing
• Digital Marketing
• FinTech (Financial Technology)
• Entrepreneurship

I feel that because the world we live in today is so fast paced, we need to help each other to keep up.

We are all valuable pieces in a huge jigsaw puzzle, but in order for us to fit, we need the other pieces to help us be found and sometimes help us to "shape our edges" so we can comfortably fit into our unique place in the huge puzzle.

At this point I'd like to mention someone who introduced me to Hive.io and who has been a huge help with getting me and my team started in Hive.io.

His name is @mcsamm.

He has helped my team and I immensely, and even gave us a 2 hour meeting this morning on how best to start posting on Hive by creating our introductions.

Why am I here?

In life it's important to recognize that we all have a role to play and that role, no matter how insignificant it may seem to ourselves (or others), MATTERS!

As long as you are not hurting others, there will always be someone somewhere that will benefit from you being you, right here on planet Earth.
