Vranovské perly; The Hidden Gems of Vranov

(Edited)

Když se řekne Vranov nad Dyjí, většina lidí si hned vybaví vranovský zámek a hrad a přehradu, která se u této obce nacházejí.

EN: When Czech people hear the name Vranov nad Dyjí, most of them think about the local castle and the dam near the town.

EN: The historical centre of the town is also very beautiful. The Dyje River flows around it. Many houses have real estate advertisements offering properties for sale. In summer, many tourists come here, but the tourist season lasts only a few months.

EN: Another popular attraction is Podyjí National Park, which stretches along the Dyje River from Vranov to Znojmo and also reaches Austria. The natural scenery is complemented by small romantic buildings and structures scattered around the area. People interested in military history can also find old bunkers and remains of the Iron Curtain near the border.

Do Vranova jsem zavítal služebně, ale i když panovalo nevlídné počasí, několik turistických lákadel jsem navštívil a pracovní cestu si užil.

EN: I visited Vranov on a business trip, but despite the bad weather, I visited several tourist attractions and enjoyed the trip.
