I am also quite frustrated about the layer projects! Looks like it's just wasting of effort and money.
I didn't know about the PGM project. I lost interest in it long ago.
I am not going to put my efforts into layer 2 anymore. As I have a large stake in the Alive token, I will only pursue that.
I will only concentrate on HIVE.

Yeah, layer 2 has been a bit rough lately for investing, that's for sure! It is possible to do so, but as I've been learning first hand, we need to be more discerning about the projects in which we invest. Projects that have a solid team (as opposed to one individual), clear consistent communication, and in which issues are addressed and resolved quickly, still offer more stable opportunities.
Layer 1 is still far more reliable in terms of investments, which is why I'm putting more focus there myself. I'll still invest in select layer-2 projects, just a lot more carefully. 😁🙏💚✨🤙
