A Hectic Tuesday at Work | Alive and Thriving on the Last Day of April 2024

Hello there! How are you? I hope that you are doing great. Welcome to my post. It's actifit report number 1163. It's also the Alive & Thriving report on Tuesday, the 30th of April 2024.

A hectic Tuesday at my work

Tuesday was the first day of a 2-day single duty at my place of work. Today the Indian doctor went to another clinic to work as the proxy doctor. Tomorrow he will take his day off. Hence, tomorrow I will have another hectic day I guess!

Today I had to consult 55 patients in my chamber. The number is less than the previous single work day number but the stress wasn't less! In the visa medical section, 48 people came for the fitness check-up.

Of 55 patients, I had two acute appendicitis cases (Clinically it was almost 100% certain). One of the two was a relatively lucky guy. His sponsor agreed to take him to a surgeon for an emergency appendectomy operation. However, another one was quite unlucky. He was on his own. His sponsor stays in UAE. The patient got no help from his sponsor. Injectable painkillers and oral tablets were his only hope!!

Today I got a few children with vomiting, diarrhea, and abdominal pain. Their parents came for injections and intravenous fluids for the kids! I was supportive :P
