Sweden, discovering tree national parks!
Finally I can start wright the last part of my Sweden trip! During the last day's in Sweden the weather was pretty cloudy and that resulted in bad pictures! When I make pictures I want them to be as close to perfect as I can! And for that I need good light! And that wasn't there in the last day's of my trip! And editing those pictures is more like a punishment for me than it is fun! But as a photographer I also need to do these things because if I have a assignment were I cant wait for beautiful weather conditions, I need to deliver to!
So I just edited the last part of the pictures this week! Also my van is at the garage for repair now, so I cant go out, and have more time to do this!
I ended up at the garage in Sweden to! My exhaust was broken! Probably did to much of of road driving here in Sweden! That's why I ended up at this place where I am now! the nature reserve Vinnö Bron! I slept like a baby that night! It was so quiet out there! The start of the day was beautiful! Sun came out and there was a tiny layer of fog over the water! There was no wind so the water was very smooth!
The sunlight was stunning! Golden hour like this I have never had before! And the mos in the forest was like a fairy tale! Ohooo Sweden, I really starting to love you!
Stunning morning in a stunning location! this is the real Sweden! That morning I wandered a round a bit more at that location! But I decided not to stay here and drove of to the next nature park on the map, Söderåsens National park! At the edge of the park was a nice camp spot with showers and electricity! there I could load up the van and myself again!
Early mornings are the best for photographing and the best for a quiet walk! Then there are not many people around! Sometimes I hate people! Screaming children or people who think the place belongs to them! i don't know! I prefer to be alone. Especially when I am in a beautiful area like this!
This place looked amazing! It is a gorge, cut out by a river! But like many places on earth, it hadn't rained here for a long time and it was way to warm! So no water was running trough here! I wanted to do some long exposure photography here, so I was carrying my filters and my tripod! But to bad I did that for nothing. There are different routes you can take, ranging from one and a half kilometers to routes of 15 kilometers and even more! I decided to follow a modest route of 9 kilometers! All routes are color coded with signs, so it's not easy to get lost! I enjoy this hike very much! It inspired me to come back here in autumn ore winter! Than this place would be even more magical wit all those colors and maybe some foggy conditions!
Time to find my next spot, and also time to get thinking of returning to home! So I could not go far away! I also didn't plan a route back home so that was something I needed to think about to!
On my travel to map there was a place called, The Brösarp Hills, they are part of the Verkeån Nature Reserve, one of the largest reserves in the southern part of Sweden. The grassy southern slopes are a good place to walk trough! And if weather conditions are good, it was a nice place for good sunset pictures! Because we don't have that many hills in the Netherlands!
I found a free camper spot with only a toilet! So that was good! I arrived there just before sunset, but there were many clouds! I did go out with my camera but the photography conditions were not good!
Can you imagine this location with a nice sunset ore sunrise?
The camper spot was just a big parking place on the side of the road! It had a toilet and some picnic tables. So very basic! but it was a good place to discover the surroundings! it also was close to the east coast of southern Sweden! And I met some nice people there to! But that is all for the next and last part of my van life trip trough Sweden!

Region Skåne is very beautiful. If I remember good, somewhere there is also a little village which has name the same like capital of Sweden - Stokholm. And next to this small Stokholm there are also a little beautiful lakes in forests.
If i put it in Google maps, I only find the capitol
I tried to find it... and you have right... It's very difficult.
Even searching in searcher of Google Maps was not possible.
Eventually, Street View and patience in clicking through the forests helped (I were there 15 years ago, and even start to think that I remember something that doesn't exists). But... I found it for you ;)
First, you have to write "Backaryd, Sweden" and find it - then go a little bit to the North-East.
Hahaha so nice 😅💪 thanks
Although the day was not exceptional, the photos are!
Especially the ones with the mist over the water-they are extremely striking!
I will tell you that I like to take photos even in the season without as long as it is not raining hard: by playing with aperture and shutter you can get perfect shots.

amazing landscapes ...
It's beautiful out there! I love sweden
What an incredible nature of this region! It is so different from the closed forests of Brazil! Not to belittle my country, but I've always wanted to walk in the middle of these different forests like the one you photographed, the fact that there isn't so much weeds and bushes on the ground and there is this kind of synergy between the dense forest and tall trees and a "relatively clean" ground gives the impression of being very good to hike in.
Yes, these are very good viking conditions! I have been to the train forest in Costa Rica and I understand what you mean. Very very dense and overgrown. But also awesome
Amazing pictures
Thank you Terry 🙏
