ROUND 123 SHOW ME A PICTURE OF BIRD/S PERCHING ON ANYTHING

Perching on anything! really anything? What about on each other? 😂

I was drivingaround the Dutch lowlands, spotting birds from my car! I stopt at a little bridge to get a good and wide view over the grasslands! but what I saw there was stunning! These two barn swallows "perching" on each other! I had to hold in my laugh to not scare them!

I just pointed and started shooting! Bizarre that the pictures came out so sharp!
I was so lucky!

It was so cool to see this and I felt a bit like a pervert! When the gentleman was done, I quickly looked at the pictures, didn't realize that the female was still sitting there!

Quickly the male came back for some more action!

I still cant believe that these pictures ended up sharp! But I was happy!

Awesome shots @haastrecht ! I love birds from the swallow group, I'm curious to know which are those. I'm also really amazed by the sharpness of those pictures of you, may I ask you which camera did you use ?

Thank you for sharing :)

This was the Canon 5D Mark 2 and the 70-200 mm F2,8 lens. In the Netherlands we vaak them "farmers swallows" Google translate calls them barn swallow!

This is really amazing how the male came for the second time. Awesome shots, so clear and sharp, considering you had seconds to capture the two birds. Great choice for this round! 🙂

You caught some very different pictures. Even the ones where the swallow is in flight the sharpness of the picture is as clear as ever.
I don't think you are going to see any other pics of a bird perching on another bird, great photography!
