New year's eve fireworks pictures!

After two years of lock down and a firework ban, people in the Netherlands were able to buy some fireworks again! That resulted in a record amount of fire work that was sold! For some 110 million euro's worth of it! And that is only the fire work that was sold legally from stores in the Netherlands!

Many people went to Germany and Belgium, because there the rules of consumer fireworks are less strict! So there bangs are louder and the flares get higher 😅

I didn't plan to get out that evening because they predicted very bad weather on new years evening! But 5 minutes before 12 it still was dry outside so I garbed my camera gear and hoped on my bike and I drove to the center of the communities where i live! There is a big roundabout were I have a view over 5 roads! When I came there, I saw an old woman standing with here walker!

I immediately felt sorry for here, because I thought she couldn't get home save because of the fireworks! When I wished here happy new years, she told me that she was standing there because that was the best place to look at all the fire works! She was very happy to be there 😄
She told me she was 85 years old and the people in here retirement home thought that she was crazy for going outside! Specially for a person who lived through the World War 2! She told me she was very young then and didn't remember much of the war bud she thought she could remember some of the bombings! It was so cool to she here standing over there, she was having the time of here life! What a beautiful person, I really enjoyed meeting her there 😊

Maybe I need to go there and bring here these two pictures of here! And show here this post off course! To bad the pictures of here are not sharp!
The view over the 5 road was pretty cool, many cakes were lit up!

I did not use a tripod because the fireworks were so quickly done! The time that I have put it up, the fireworks were gone again! So leaning on the back of my bike or on a road sign, I tried to capture it all! At least the fireworks looks sharp here. I saw that i really moved a lot!

I live in an area next to the forest! So there are many trees in this part of the town! Many of the fire works I saw were behind the trees! So I tried to capture that!

I tried to capture some fireworks next to the large residential tower, but most of it was already gone!

And the last part was the fireworks that was pretty high in the sky! No foreground and no trees!
This is not my best work but it was fun to try it out! And it was beautiful to see!
