Fungi friday! High up in the tree edition!
I am always wondering, when trees like this, are going to fall down! Some fungi's are real killers! Parasites is a better word but they will destroy any tree!
And if you look closely, this tree is already dead! The leafs you see here are all part of trees standing around this one!
A couple of weeks a go I saw a tree like this who was totally rotten away laying on the forest floor! I made a lot of pictures of it but i deleted them somehow!
And that all started with a fungi like this! These are so small but could be very dead ly of you standing there while the tree falls!

With all those mushrooms on its bark, I don't think it's going to be standing for long.

It’s possible for this tree not to collapse. People may still need to bring it down

Sometimes, they cut them down, but they are trying to let nature do its thing more often. There is so much life inside these trees.
