Drone pictures of WW2 personnel bunkers
Hello drone lovers,
Here a little post about some WW2 bunkers that are spread around the western part of the Netherlands. they are part of the fortification of Utrecht and I say they are from WW2 but they were build just after the war. They did that because the Netherlands was afraid that Russia would also conquer the rest of Europe after ww2
In these bunkers there was room for about 12 soldiers including their gear and food for a couple of weeks.
They were spread around the city and close to fortifications that were there to protect the city.
Here an overview of a couple of them near the city. in the top left you see the flats were Utrecht starts.
Hidden between the bush but now there is a hiking trail along them.
These personnel bunkers were buold around the fortification of Ruigenhoek.
In this picture top richt you see the three in the open field. I don't think back in the day's that field was this open. Now that land is from a farmer and they cant use bush ore trees.

Hmm I'm not sure they could have last long vs tanks and artillery 🤔
Haha, they are not modernwarfair proof 😅 but they are still there because they are extremely hard to break down.
