Shibari & Light Painting ?
Not where I want this to go, but I want to share the process. Here you get to see some of the first Shibari / Light Painting experiments.
I do find the Japanese knot artistry called shibari very fascinating. You don't need to! Anyhow .. I still struggle to bring it together with Light Art. Certainly a very different mood in the studio i can tell you.
Ich möchte zwar nicht in die Richtung gehen, aber ich möchte den Prozess teilen. Hier seht ihr einige meiner ersten Shibari-/Light Painting-Experimente.
Ich finde halt die japanische Knotenkunst / Shibari sehr faszinierend. Das müsst ihr nicht! Jedenfalls fällt es mir immer noch schwer, sie mit Light Painting zu verbinden. Aber ich arbeite daran.
Auf Jeden fall mal was gaaanz anderes hier im Studio!

In the beginning, I am pretty much documenting the process. After a while, I got the chance to start changing the color. Little red and white here.
Am Anfang dokumentiere ich den Prozess weitgehend. Nach einer Weile hatte ich die Möglichkeit, die Farbe zu ändern. Hier ein bisschen Rot und Weiß.
For the next steps, I hope to get more indirect implicit signs of what happened. Here, the marks could create some cool texture. Maybe next.
Für die nächsten Schritte hoffe ich, mehr indirekte, implizite Hinweise auf das Geschehene zu erhalten. Hier könnten die Markierungen eine coole Textur erzeugen. Vielleicht als Nächstes.
Lift up
There was one pose that was important to Emmanuel. For that, we needed to lift up the model.
Es gab eine Pose, die Emmanuel wichtig war. Dafür mussten wir das Modell anheben.
In contrast to normal Light Painting, the Shibari session is a very dynamic thing. Everything is changing constantly, not very fast but steadily. So I need to constantly adjust settings and composition. For the next steps, I need a strategy to interrupt the procedure slowly and get the shots done. But that next time.
Anders als beim normalen Light Painting ist die Shibari-Session sehr dynamisch. Alles verändert sich ständig, nicht sehr schnell, aber stetig. Daher muss ich Einstellungen und Komposition ständig anpassen. Für die nächsten Schritte brauche ich eine Strategie, um den Vorgang langsam zu unterbrechen und die Aufnahmen fertigzustellen. Aber das beim nächsten Mal.
More colors to play with
Of course, you find multiple flashlights lying around here in my studio. Let's introduce more color and see what works.
In meinem Studio liegen immer Taschenlampen herum. Lass uns mal mit noch ein bisschen Farbe spielen, mal sehen was funktioniert.
I am totally aware that someone else's kink does not have to be yours or mine. Whatever floats your boat. Just remember, do as you like - don't let anyone tell you what you like. Keep it legal though!
Mir ist völlig klar, dass die Vorlieben anderer nicht unbedingt deine oder meine sein müssen. Was auch immer dir gefällt. Denk einfach daran: Mach, was du willst – lass dir von niemandem vorschreiben, was du magst. Aber bleib legal!
Remember, we are in Berlin here! This is what is called a slide warm-up!
