I really wonder why? I thought at first that maybe it's because you've used peakd to upload them so whenever you are visiting ecency or hive.blog and they use their imageproxy services to present you those pictures, those are re-encoded again loosing some quality... but then I saw that actually on a peakd it's loaded from hive.blog imagehoster instance :-D

I did use Peaked to compose the post and technically I did upload them through Peaked. Maybe that affects something, but I really don't know why it is like that.
