RE: The art of getting the right balance

Beat ya! LOL I have got 56 posts in my drafts folder,(and being added to daily) which I think are complete, yet when I come to publish them I always think "Nah" and give them a tweak.

The time and effort serious bloggers make to present quality posts, it certainly outweighs the rewards, maybe we should just post a "look at my actifit post" add a few snaps half a dozen words and move on. or a "check this out on 3speak" with a video clip. Still I guess this place has to cater for all sorts.

Happy Thursday ranting, I digress!

Some super mono shots there, used in the right context they are far more powerful than poly snaps; they focus the viewer without the distraction of colour.

Two really stand out ones, I shall refrain from mansplaining why these are super!

Let us now just celebrate the continual uploading of quality posts. Hurrrah! for the draft folder

56 drafts!!!! You're such a draft hoarder 🤣

The one above is also my favourite, and the two together give a different view of the same structure which I think is quite nice

I feel when I enjoyed a travel so much, I really want to give it my best, but as time goes by, I forget details and am just left with vague memories and images which doesn't help to write a post. Like my Petra trip from 2014, still haven't got round to do that. Luckily I kicked my own arse really hard when I came back from Antartica and pushed out most of the posts. I only have 1 or maybe 2 left.

just sent you another peakd chat message.

yes the eye gets drawn into the scenes.

I like to keep it to uploading maybe twice a week, otherwise I would see myself as a bit of an attention grabber, and have no wish to be seen as such.

I guess I take too many snaps on my travels, but I just can't help myself!

2014!!! jeez that is being a lazy arse! At least mine are all within the last couple of years, no time to dredge up pre hive travels to upload.

I guess I am fortunate in a weird kind of way, I only need to look at a couple of snaps and get pretty good memory recall, of where and what, then with a little bit of help with the web can build a story about my adventures.

I did reply to your message ( I think in that funny little square bubble) will look again.
