The Ducks

Oh, these days when I go outside with a camera. Have nothing in particular to take photos of but would love to have some photos taken. When a herd of ducks happens to be in the area then it's a great subject. There is a small stream near my home and in the spring there are often many ducks. Right now in the summer most of the ducks go somewhere else and there are only a few.

I took these photos in the spring with my telephoto lens which has a broken stabilization motor. God damn, I should get it fixed, it has been so long already. The broken stabilization motor makes it hard to get clear shots on full zoom @200m and without using high shutter speeds. The fix is expensive that's why I still haven't taken it on. I really should soon.
Here are the photos of some ducks.

It's always so cool to see them diving underwater and their legs being up in the air. I guess they are trying to get some food from the wet riverbed. Not exactly sure, what will they find from there.

Ducks are such graceful and interesting creatures. I'm sorry to hear that your telephoto lens has a broken stabilization motor. That's definitely a bummer, especially since it makes it difficult to get clear shots. I know the repair is expensive, but I think it would be worth it to get it fixed so you can keep taking great photos

I will surely get it fixed but probably sometime in the autumn. Getting it fixed means being without it for several weeks and I don't want it in the summer

Haha yeah, great one 😂. Cant say I'm a big fan of ducks but they are interesting to observe and see since they are pretty much in my backyard.
