Summer Travels
Another post about a short trip in Estonia with my friends in the summer. Here, I don't have any specific locations to show off. Rather bits and pieces from here and there. We didn't have an exact plan for where we would visit or what are we would do. We made all the plans on the go.
We were driving in southwestern Estonia and we made some plans to find a beach to go and have a quick swim because it was a hot day. We went to a beach called Matsi Beach. There is a ton of nice sandy beaches in the area and it was just that.
I didn't take many photos due to midday lighting, which is not ideal. But I have a couple.

There was one problem. There were a TON of hoverflies and they like to hang out on your warm skin. These were so bothersome for us. Hiverflies look like wasps, but they do not sting. Basically, a regular fly with wasp colors. This color is for survival purposes because other animals stay away from them due to being like a wasp. They were everywhere and so many, so we did not stay on the beach for long.

At least my friend's dog had a time of its life.

After that, we decided to drive to a port. It's a small port named Munalaiu port. There, you can take a ferry to a couple of small Estonian islands, which I have never been to before. We even thought about going, but we were a bit short of time, so we canceled this idea.
Instead, we went on a small fishing pier because my friend wanted to try and catch a fish. I took this time to take a couple of shots there.

Here you can see one of the nearby islands where you can go by ferry. The name of the island is Manila. I think it would be so cool to explore the island.

My friend didn't catch any fish...😄
There were other really cool places we visited on our trip, which I will get to shortly.

Sometimes the best adventures are the unplanned ones. I could almost feel the summer vibe and the excitement of exploring new places with friends, even the hoverflies couldn’t ruin it.
Definitely a great view for some great photos. Cheers!
Thanks! Would love to see some summer vibes currently 😄
Such adventures are much more memorable and there is a lot of joy in going here and we also get to learn a lot by seeing natural things here.
