Summer Storm Photo Chasing

This year, half the summer was really cold and didn't resemble the summer much at all. Now, I'm glad to say that we finally got the summer we all missed. Hot temps and sunny weather. All the beaches are packed at all times now.

About two weeks ago, we got hit by stormy weather. Strong winds and gloomy clouds. The strongest part of the storm happened in the middle of the night, and I wanted to go to the beach and capture some of this action. While driving to one of the beaches, I saw several fallen trees on the roads.

The time was a bit after 3 at night when taking these shots. It already had started to get brighter because our summers don't really get dark at all.
I just tried to get some shots of the dramatic seascape and clouds.

These storm pics were good, but about a week ago, very intense thunderstorms hit us and I got some insane pictures of approaching shelf clouds that looked like doomsday had come. I haven't gotten to post-process these yet, but I will. It was crazy.
