Photographing Saturn - Astrophotography
Just recently I made a post where I photographed Jupiter, you can see the post here. On the same evening, I also decided to try and photograph Saturn. Pretty much It was the same as with Jupiter. I don't get any quality shots but the mission was to see if I can see the rings of Saturn, and I did! Sort of.
For this, I used my Nikon Z6II mirrorless camera and 600mm lends, no telescope. For this picture, I used the following settings: ISO 6400, f6.4, @600mm focal length and 1/500 shutter speed.
I tried stacking too but that didn't improve the photo in this case, the planet is too small in the original photo. So this is only a single shot and is cropped in very heavily to see the existence of the rings.
Here is the result. You don't see detail but you can clearly make out the shape of the rings of Saturn. Still extremely cool to capture something like this yourself.
One thing is certain. A telescope would do a much better job of bringing out the details.
kuradi see ketas ka näha ja möllu, mdv täiega epic, yoo kuidas tead mida vaatad või kuhu vaadata?
