November Not So Bad This Time - Snow Walk

Usually I consider November the worst month of the year. I know I know, I complain every year but what are you gonna do, this time I complain but perhaps less 😅. In November we usually have shit weather, always rainy and dull, no sunshine pretty much at all and of course the darkness. I'm writing this as of now at 15.59 and it's already dark out and will get darker during December.

The first half of November was as crap as ever I just talked about above but the second half has been better this year. We got a lot of snow that really stayed on the ground and temperatures have been below zero fortunately. I take snow and cold every day before blackness and rain.

Earlier today I went on a walk outside and brought a camera with me to have some winter land photos taken along the way. We have quite a lot of snow and currently snows more as we speak.

A lot of ducks sitting next to the river.

We actually had an incredible day just a few days back. Cold temps, snow on the ground and full sunshine! I was such an enjoyable one. Of course I went on a photo walk and will post it soon enough. Have a great winter or summer depending on where you are!

It is fun to walk and look this fresh snow ... so far it has been good that it came down so quickly, which gives more time to find good pictures... And this ducks don't freeze there ? , or the water is open there all the time so they can be in there all time ?

Indeed it is!
Ducks don't freeze they have a thick layer of fat so they don't get cold. Usually, this river does not fully freeze but I have seen it like 90% frozen when temps get very cold for a long while.

Will the ducks have something to eat in winter? Are they not flying south?

Im not too sure what they eat but I think they find stuff from river floor.
No they are here all year round.

Beautiful snow photos. Winter is finally here, the snow is really getting much. So many duck out there, I just feel they will be freezing especially the little ones.

Depends where you live. We only get very little daylight hours here in the north.

Right now we are seeing that winter has arrived in countries all over the world and we are seeing snowfall everywhere, so these places are very special and the people living here enjoy snowfall a lot.

It's great to know that you managed to capture some beautiful winter land photos. The ducks sitting next to the river and the full sunshine on a cold day makes it all the more lovely

So much snow in November! Most of November we also have clouds, lots of rain and FOG all days long. It's so depressing. There is a bit of snow now, but it is raining currently, so I wonder how long it lasts..

Great photos! Looks like winter wonderland already 😍

I feel you.
At least you have more daylight. Fortunately, forecast does not show above 0 degrees here during the next week and a half so snow should stay.

Quite a winter wonderland right now for sure!

@greddyforce
Much appreciation for these impressive shoots. River in your side is much little as compared to others. Snow at trees and everywhere makes hurdles in life.
How you are living in these areas.
There is not sunshine but in my side here is not any snow like this. Our areas have some hot temperature all the year.

In summer we have no shortage of sunshine and we have a sun that almost never sets during the mid-summer. Winters are the exact opposite.
