In for a Lot of Cool Cars? Long Gallery

I guess seeing a car post from me is something unexpected, since most of the time, I post nature photos and my adventures in the wild. The thing is, I love cars too! Especially JDM and drift cars.

Back in August, I went to a drift event that was not a competition but more like a drift festival. A lot of people came there with their drift cars to drift on an open track until well into the darkness. Of course, I was there with my camera to capture the action and the cars.
In this post, I want to show you some of the cars that I saw in the pit area and the exhibition area. I have a ton of drifting shots too, but I will leave these to another post because it's too much to put everything in one post.

I will start with the pit area. This is the first place I went when I arrived at the festival. To see what cars we are dealing with on the track.

I love the Japanese-style body kit on these.

This Nissan is owned by my acquaintance. Talked with him, and he was a bit afraid of this track there and said he would take the first laps chill to get the feel. He rolled this car last year when he hit the wall. It has a twin-turbo Volvo engine in it.

Having walked through the pit area, I went to see what could be seen in the exhibition area. These cars will not go on the track, and most of them are extremely clean JDM cars.

Stay tuned for the post when I will show you the photos of the cars on the track. Maybe even uploading some videos of the drifting, too.

That Nissan with the twin turbo Volvo heart really got me. I love the mix of guts and sense in taking the first laps chill after last year. Your pit walk felt like a roADtrip through pure drift culture. These shots is fire :) I typed drfit by accident and it still fits.

I wouldn't have noticed the error if you hadn't pointed it out😄.

I was told that this Volvo engine will get 2 bigger turbos soon. Right now, these were stock turbos and pretty small. The drift culture is well here in Estonia for sure.
